Gregory H. Jones Obituary

Gregory H. Jones, 67, of Springfield, formerly of Ludlow, died at 3:17 p.m. on Friday, August 14, 2015 at his home.

Gregory was born July 22, 1948 in Urbana, the son of Howard Smith and Mary Louise Robeck Jones.

Gregory attended Ludlow Grade School and later graduated from St. Bede Academy in Peru in 1966. He enjoyed outdoor sports and spending time with his nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Larry, Rick, and Steve Jones.

He is survived by his siblings, Joseph (wife, Patricia) Jones of Rantoul and Susan (husband, Darrell) Felts of Springfield and several nieces and nephews.

The family will host a Memorial Gathering from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Thomasboro, IL.

Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Cemetery.

Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
