Sharon L. Dishon, 70, of Springfield, passed away at 10:40 a.m. on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at her residence.

Sharon was born July 25, 1944 in Springfield, the daughter of Wayne and Thelma Henderson Dishon. She married Gene Smith and they later divorced. He preceded her in death in 2013.

Sharon was a graduate of Lanphier High School in Springfield.

She was also preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her son, Mark (wife, Kathy) Smith of Rochester; mother, Thelma Henderson Furrow of Springfield; grandson, Collin Smith of Springfield; and sister, Linda (husband, Roger) DeHart of Chatham.

Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.
