Donna Jean Smith, 63, of Springfield passed away at 10:57 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2010 at her home.

Donna was born on September 30, 1946 in Springfield, the daughter of beloved father, Frank and Eileen Johnson Riech and biological father, Harold Havener.

She was a graduate of Springfield High School and worked at the Sangamon County tax office. She was a member of the Southfork Dancers and the American Legion Post 32. She enjoyed riding motorcycles, being outdoors, fishing and camping.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two grandchildren, Adam Cellini-Dunn and Jennifer Randazzo-Dunn; an uncle, Red Johnson; and two cousins. Vann and David Johnson.

She is survived by one son, Edward Lee (wife, Suzanne) Dunn of Springfield; two daughters, Candice McMasters and Tamara “Tami” (Jan) Smith, both of Springfield; eight grandchildren, Justin and Tanna Smith, Dylan, Drew, Joseph and Jeanie Dunn, Brent Jamison and Kiara McMasters; one great-grandchild, Mariah Rickman; two brothers, Steven and Rick Havenar, both of Springfield; three sisters, Debbie Havenar and Caroline (husband, Sherwood) Danenberger, both of Springfield, and Barb (husband, Harvey) Goetsch of Florida; and three nephews, Mark Hamrick of Indiana, Mike Hamrick of Colorado and Charles Shipman of Springfield.

Cremation will be accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

A memorial ceremony will be held on Tuesday, July 13, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church.

Candance, Tamara & Family. I wanted to let you know how sorry I am to hear of your mothers passing. She was a sweet and loving woman. I just found out. Even though it is late my condolences and prayers are w/ u. I enjoyed the time your mother and i spent together. She was a real trooper.

Mom me and the kids miss ya so much I'm doing the right things just so ya know it has been crazy and we still need ya to watch over us life throws so many curves r way and sometimes I don't know how I DO IT EVERYDAY but I just want ya to know that u r in my thoughts everyday thats what keeps me going besides your beautiful grandkids I got Brent his school stuff and Kiara some stuff too now just have to get thru this divorce but I know u will help me thru this WE LOVE YA SO MUCH AND MISS YA MORE THAN U EVER KNOW........Mom please be with us
