Russell "Russ" Campbell, 63 of Springfield, died at 3:25 a.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at his home.

Russ was born September 15, 1948 in Clinton, the son of Charles and Dottie Turner Campbell. He married Katherine Fuller on July 5, 1985 in Greenville, TX. She preceded him in death.

Russ was a very honest, dependable and hard-working man whose family meant the world to him. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his children, Mary Phillips, Maria Bicknell, Shirley Fulk, Robin Hamilton, Angie, Velma, Bobby Parris, George Bee, Paul Parris, Danny Hamilton, Billy Hamilton, and Joe Richardson; brother, Leonard Campbell and sister, Beverly Boitht; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Cremation was accorded by Lincoln Land Cremation Society.

hi sorry we lost so many years being togather.i never stop missing r loving none of my family.lol remenber when kenneth ran to help me close the sliding glass door and cut his finger almost off .u would tease me by showing me his finger and lol at me for screaming .miss u give my mom a big hug and kiss

He was always a very friendly person and he would always take the time to listen what you have to say. Then he would give you his opinion on what he thinks.
