Condolence & Memory Journal

Dear Miller Family:
Marcia's presence will be sadly missed. She was always such an inspiration to me as a loving mother who cherished time with her own family.

I also know she cared for others and championed their strong suits. She was a true encourager.

May you hold on to the wonderful memories you shared with her in the days to come and find comfort from the scriptures and in the hope of Christ's return.

God bless you,
Sandy Furst

We had so much fun growing up. Slumber parties, band trips, pool. She will be greatly missed.

Marcia made me laugh through 13 years of school (K-12). Reading the memory list made me think of school and band and the times with Marcia. I even remember her giving me a clay basset that I admired. Will miss the laughter.

I am so shocked and sorry to learn of Marcia's death. I was fortunate to sit with her and her husband John at our high school reunion a few years ago, and since then Marcia and I were in touch through Facebook.

A fond memory I have occurred after a home football game in Washington. Marcia and I and a couple of other marching members all piled into Marcia's Volkswagen bug and went out into the country to try smoking cigars. None of us were smokers, but we laughed until we cried as we filled up the little car with cigar smoke. . .who knows why, just being silly teenagers! As people have described, Marcia was always smiling and had an infectious laugh.

My thoughts are with Marcia and her family.

Marcia will be greatly missed at our school. She always took an extra interest in my students and would suggest books for them to read. If our school library did not have the book, she would find and order it from another school. She went above and beyond to sevice kids!! My sincere condolences to her family. She was a wonderful, caring person!!

I always smile when I think of Marcia. I always have and always will. She was so important to me growing up. The time I got to spend with her in Girl Scouts means so much to me. She was such an awesome leader and we had so much fun! She always brought so much energy and enthusiasm to what we were doing. She was a special friend to me and my family and I am so glad to have known her.

Marcia's laugh was contagious and she was a kind hearted woman with the love of God flowing out from her. She brought light and refreshment where ever she went. Her legacy lives on in her children, who exude many her qualities. I will miss you, Marcia!

So thankful our kids were able to spend time with Marcia and be taught the fruit of the spirit by her at Family Camp. She inspired our family in the best way - with the love of God, and she manifested love, joy, peace, goodness and gentleness to all.

My sister Marcia loved God with all her heart, soul, mind, and strength. She consistently encouraged others and seemed to find the bright side of any situation. Her tender heart of giving will always be remembered by myself and the rest of my family. We look forward to the return of Christ when we will all be together, and death will be defeated once and for all.

Marcia always made me laugh! We would giggle about the silliest things. So thankful to have one of her handmade ceramic vases in my office! She was not only God's best she was everyone's best!

So sorry to hear of your loss. I have very fond memories of when Marcia worked at the Macomb Public Library. She was a great librarian and I have heard high school kids saying how much she will be missed! Sincerely, Margaret Sowers

I went to a Family Camp last year and had the privilege of being taught by Marcia on how to craft with clay. Not that I had never done it before, but she made me feel like mine was a MASTERPIECE! No kidding! She doted over my work like it was a Michael Angelo....which, by the way, made me very proud of what I was doing. She was always smiling, always joking, and to watch her and Erin together was such a joy to my heart.

I will miss you Marcia, but I sure do look forward to spending eternity with you! It has to be nothing but good with you there! See ya!

Much love and GREAT HOPE!
